The Children and Youth Ministry's primary focus is on relevant issues directly affecting young people. This ministry provides loving and supportive adults to mentor and spiritually guide young people as they transition into young adults. The Children and Youth Ministry provides an atmosphere to encourage biblical learning for life application and leadership. One of the components of this ministry is the planning and hosting of family activities.

The Christian Education Ministry is charged with oversight and leadership of all biblical study and Christian instruction here at Pleasant Grove. Under the leadership of our pastor and ministers of Christian Education, this ministry plans and implements study through our Bible Institute, Discipleship Training, Mid-week Bible Study and Special Study sessions.

The Evangelism Ministry strives to share the Word of God with all people through various means of communication. The Great Commission proclaims the gospel and salvation of Jesus Christ to all man-kind. We want the lost to be found and those who are saved to be convicted and transformed to greater works.

Deacons at PGC are servants of the church and helpers to our pastor with the care of all disciples. This ministry is organized to systematically care for all church families, model Christ, and promote peace in all church ministries.

The Mission Ministry serves as the outreach ministry, proclaiming and demonstrating the Kingdom of God to the world. It gives disciples an opportunity to serve the needs of our neighbors, inside and outside the church.

The Worship Ministry facilitates worship through prayer, theological Biblical grounded preaching, teaching, and singing. The ministry prayerfully coordinates meaningful worship with all components of the church body. These components are Children’s Church, Music, Ushers, Greeters, and Multimedia.

Finance Ministry

The Finance Ministry has overall oversight of church financial resources. In consultation with our pastor, this ministry assists in the development and design of the church’s annual budget, strategic plan, and long range financial strategy. All financial transactions for the church are centralized under the Finance Ministry. 

The Trustee Ministry focuses on facilities management, grounds care, and legal affairs of our church. Church properties and the comfort of our sanctuary and facilities are primary concerns of this ministry. The trustees ensure all church properties are well maintained and utilized in an orderly manner.

The M.O.R.E. Ministry is the new name of our Covenant Marriage Fellowship. M.O.R.E. stands for "Making Our Relationships Everlasting". This ministry is for married couples and meets monthly to enjoy great food, fellowship and solid Biblical teaching to develop healthy marriages.
