PLEASANT GROVE CHURCH

Habitat for Humanity
Pleasant Grove Church has been ministering in Haiti since 2014. Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, is recovering from a massive earthquake in 2010. Mission trips to Haiti include ministry at schools, orphanages, and churches. Our medical clinic outreach has served hundreds of underserved men, women and children in Port au Prince with needed medical care and medicine. Pleasant Grove is also serving the Body of Christ in Haiti by equipping church leadership through Bible training seminars. Teams also take hygiene items, toys, clothes, shoes, and school supplies.
The major focus for the Mission Ministry is in face-to-face service as the face, hands and feet of Christ. We are champions in the cause of Christ!

Embrace Uganda
PGC assists in building homes for families in Apex and Cary. Through the Cary Church Build Coalition, we provide financial resources and volunteers to build the home, along with the recipient family.
Embrace Uganda is our global outreach partner providing resources to three orphanages in Uganda. We provide financial and material supplies for the maintenance of the medical clinic, residential compounds and education components. Our biggest project has been to provide the only fresh water well in Kurang, Uganda.
